I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) licensed in Vermont, New York, and Massachusetts with a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the State University of New York at Albany. For more than twenty years, I have worked in private practice, supporting individuals through a wide range of life experiences and challenges.
My professional background also includes work as an outpatient clinician and crisis outreach specialist at United Counseling Services, as a per-diem emergency clinician at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center, and as adjunct faculty at Southern Vermont College and the Community College of Vermont. These experiences, spanning crisis work, outpatient care and teaching have shaped a grounded, flexible approach to therapy that meets people where they are.

As the daughter of a Vietnam Veteran and a person whose family story includes adoption, I hold a special interest and an embodied sensitivity for exploring and unburdening from family legacies. This work often involves taking a closer look at the profound impacts of attachment patterns and trauma within our lives and family systems, allowing us to find freedom and create a more integrated future.

I am deeply curious about shame, how it settles into the body, how it is passed through family systems and how it is shaped and sustained by institutions and culture. Shame is not a personal failure but a relational wound, often learned early and carried quietly. Together, we listen for its origins, honor the ways it once protected you and create space for compassion, choice and reconnection.

At the heart of my work is a deep faith in the healing power of relationship, both the one we build together in therapy and just as importantly, the relationship you cultivate with yourself. I offer a steady, attentive presence and a reverence for each person’s lived story, holding a shared hope for healing and growth. Along the way, there is often room for laughter as we make sense of what life brings. True and lasting change unfolds when you begin to meet your inner world with compassion, curiosity and welcome.
